United Sound musicians have been invited to perform with the Music for All Summer Symposium Marching Band Students AND the Carolina Crown Drum Corps at the Drum Corps International Central Indiana Show in Muncie, Indiana!
Date: Friday, June 30, 2023
Rehearsal Time: 3:00pm
DCI Show: 8:00pm
Performance Time: 10:30pm
Location: Ball State University
Cost: $35 Performer, $25 Family
Attire: T-shirt will be provided. Performers should wear khaki shorts and comfortable, closed toe shoes.

What if I want to participate but can't afford the registration fee? Send an email to dorean@unitedsound.org and we’ll send you a coupon code to waive the fee. Please don’t let finances keep you from joining us for this awesome night! (Students cannot request coupon codes, only parents.)
What does my registration fee include?

What’s happening in the middle of all that time??? It’s 2 rehearsals, actually. Then we’ll take a big group photo with about 500 people! Finally, we’ll all move outside of the stadium to a large grassy area for a picnic dinner. The Drum Corps Show starts at 7:30pm and everyone in our group will get into the show for free! We perform at the end of the show, before the awards. Be prepared for a long, late, FUN night!
*In our group requires registration and payment on the forms above. If you just show up with your family, we’ll still be glad to have you, but you’ll have to purchase a DCI ticket to get in to see the DCI show and the 10:30pm performance. https://dci.org/events/2023-dci-central-indiana
*Parents/guardians are required to travel with and stay nearby New Musicians at all times. United Sound staff doesn’t know your children or their needs and we must keep their safety first. If you work something out with an alternative adult who will be in charge of your student, that’s perfectly fine. Just please don’t expect to drop them off at the event. We will have just 1 staff member at Ball State!
*What if it’s too hot or too late or my child needs a break at an inopportune time? They get a break. That’s why you’re there. Your child’s needs come first. Don’t ask. Just pull them out until they’re ready to come back.
