What if I’ve never participated in United Sound before? No problem! We’ll have an instrument for you and get you up to speed in just one day. We’ve had many New Musicians who participate with United Sound for the very first time at camp. You’ll be in good hands!

We’ll spend the first bit just getting ourselves organized and then 1 hour with the band directors. The teachers will be split up into groups (just like we do with student mentors) and they’ll have this hour to get to know our adult musicians and prepare a very simple piece to play together. The “performance” will happen in the same room. No walking about, no worries about the weather!
