Claudia Smith

Claudia Smith grew up in Illinois, but is now a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and has continued to build a career centered on education and community.

Alongside her role as the Marketing Coordinator for United Sound, Claudia serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Visual Communications at Ivy Tech Community College.

Beyond the classroom, Claudia enjoys supporting music education alongside her husband Ryan Smith, an Orchestra Director at Northrop High School. Claudia has become an enthusiastic supporter of United Sound and assists with the Fort Wayne chapter that celebrates the meaningful connections that music creates for students. Together, Claudia and Ryan are passionate about fostering inclusive, creative communities where every student has the opportunity to grow, belong, and thrive. She is excited to help expand United Sound's reach, ensuring that more students, educators, and communities experience the joy of connection through music.
