Kelli Archibald is a member of Ernst & Young LLP’s Exempt Organization Tax Services practice. Kelli has been with EY for more than 25 years and currently serves private foundations and exempt organizations across the country.
At EY, Kelli focuses specifically on private foundation tax law. She assists clients with foundation planning and advises clients with issues regarding private foundation/public charity status including assistance with conversion to and from public charity and private foundation status, joint ventures, tax aspects of financial reporting for private foundations, alternative investment impact and reporting, and the excise penalty taxes. She has experience dealing with private foundation tax controversy and IRS audit representation, and many general 501(c)(3) issues such as excess benefit transactions and unrelated business income tax. She works with family foundations, large legacy foundations, institutional investors and many corporate foundations. Other clients served include public charities such as employee assistance organizations and large healthcare systems.
Kelli received her B.S. in Accounting and her Master’s degree in Accountancy - Taxation from Brigham Young University and is an Arizona CPA. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Arizona Society of CPAs.
